What Is A Sweep?
A cattle crowding tub, also called a cattle sweep, is a curved handling area designed to funnel cattle efficiently into an alley or squeeze chute.
This design supports efficient cattle handling while reducing stress on livestock and improving safety for handlers.
Frequently Asked Questions About EZ Tub & Sweep Systems
What does it mean by self locking sweep?
All of our sweeps are designed with safety in mind. It simply means that the gate locks about every foot to prevent cattle from kicking or pushing back on the gate while you are pushing them into the alley!
Why would you want the sweep sheeted vs open sides?
Sheeted sides can limit distraction when working cattle and help with smoother flow.
Why would I need an eliminator gate?
If you have an issue with cattle turning or pushing themselves into that corner of the sweep this removes that corner completely, keeping that flow forward.
